Position Overview
The Director of Procurement  will be responsible for overseeing all procurement and inventory management functions within Presentail. This role is central to ensuring optimal stock levels, strong supplier partnerships, cost efficiency, and accurate forecasting to meet customer demand. The CPO will develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals, leading a team focused on operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement Presentail’s procurement strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Lead the procurement team to achieve cost efficiency, timely sourcing, and supplier reliability.
  • Establish clear procurement policies and ensure compliance with company standards and ethics.
Inventory & Stock Management
  • Oversee stock levels across all categories to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and waste.
  • Implement inventory control systems and demand forecasting models to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with logistics and fulfillment teams to align inventory with delivery timelines.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
Forecasting & Analysis
  • Develop data-driven demand forecasting tools to anticipate seasonal trends and market changes.
  • Monitor and analyze key procurement metrics (e.g., supplier performance, lead times, cost savings).
  • Present regular procurement reports and insights to the executive team.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization
  • Manage the procurement budget, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction without compromising quality.
Sustainability & Innovation
  • Promote sustainable sourcing practices and ethical procurement standards.
  • Explore new suppliers, materials, and technologies that enhance operational resilience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations management (e-commerce or retail preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
