Presentail is seeking a dynamic Purchasing/ Procurement Manager to join our team in our Achrafieh office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing activities to ensure the smooth operation of our gift delivery service. This individual will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services essential for our business operations.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet Presentail's objectives and goals.
  2. Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed.
  3. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Coordinate with various departments to assess their procurement needs and prioritize purchases accordingly.
  5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  6. Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions to anticipate potential issues and mitigate risks.
  7. Resolve supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoicing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and compliance standards related to procurement and purchasing activities.
  10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize purchasing processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office applications.
  7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Knowledge of Lebanese market dynamics and familiarity with local suppliers/vendors is a plus.
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
