Position Overview
The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) is a key member of Presentail’s executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the company’s global procurement and sourcing strategy. The CPO oversees supplier relationships, inventory forecasting, and end-to-end procurement operations to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and strategic alignment with Presentail’s business goals.
This role requires a forward-thinking leader who combines financial acumen, operational insight, and strategic influence to drive Presentail’s long-term growth and supply resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and lead Presentail’s long-term procurement vision and strategy across all business units.
- Serve as the executive owner of supplier relationships, procurement policy, and supply chain governance.
- Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and COO to align procurement decisions with company-wide financial and operational goals.
- Drive strategic initiatives in cost optimization, risk management, and sustainable sourcing.
- Oversee procurement planning, purchasing operations, and contract management across all vendor categories.
- Ensure efficient and transparent sourcing practices that balance cost, quality, and reliability.
- Implement enterprise-level procurement systems and policies that support scalability and compliance.
- Lead the company’s forecasting and stock-level management to ensure optimal availability across all products and regions.
- Utilize data analytics and AI-driven tools to predict demand, manage seasonality, and prevent supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with logistics and fulfillment teams to enhance supply efficiency and delivery performance.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure innovation, quality, and value creation.
- Negotiate high-impact contracts and pricing agreements to support profitability and growth objectives.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and enforce ethical and sustainable sourcing standards.
- Develop and oversee company-wide procurement governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to ethical, financial, and legal standards.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, operational, and sustainability challenges.
- Promote continuous improvement and accountability across procurement processes.
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4+ years of senior-level experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing (with at least 5 years in a leadership role).
- Proven success developing procurement strategies in a high-growth or e-commerce environment.
- Strong negotiation, financial, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of influencing executive and cross-functional decisions.
- Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and advanced forecasting tools.
- Deep understanding of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing standards.
